Dr. Lin's laboratory is investigating mechanisms that regulate energy homeostasis in cells and in organisms using genetic and genomic tools. His research focuses on the PGC-1 family of transcriptional coactivators and their role in the control of mitochondrial function, glucose and lipid homeostasis.
