Crystallization Screening

Broad screening is widely recognized as the surest way to identify conditions for crystallization of proteins. With the help of robotic equipment, hundreds of potential crystallization conditions can be tested in the Crystallization Screening Lab using very small quantities of the target protein. Initial crystallization conditions identified on a micro-scale can be refined and scaled up for structure determination.
